My career in education has included teaching grades 2, 6, and 8 in elementary district settings, serving as Special Services Coordinator implementing Co-Teaching, and in a local university, teaching special education courses in the Master’s program. In 2004, I heard David Rose present UDL; I embraced it, attended three summer programs, was a facilitator at the fourth, and am a proud Cadre member. I have presented UDL locally and overseas. Recently, as a Field Experience Supervisor, I have been supporting student teachers implementing UDL to empower their learners.
